The questions everyone asks
What happens when the trial ends?
The workspace becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted — you keep access to your data and your generated documents, and writing resumes the day you subscribe.
Which limits actually stop me?
Three, and they are the three on the grid: products, users and storage. There is no monthly export count and no template count — nothing else is metered, and nothing is counted that we do not charge you for. Storage is the one that costs us by the gigabyte, so when it is full new photographs are refused until you free some or add a pack. The workspace warns you well before that.
Do the documents I generate use up my storage?
Yes — photographs and generated documents share one allowance, because they are the same files on the same invoice. Generating a document is never refused, though: it is the thing you are paying for, so it runs even if it takes you slightly over. When space runs short we say so and offer two answers on the spot — drop the documents produced more than a day ago, which cost nothing because they are rebuilt from your catalogue, or ask for another pack. Documents are deleted on their own after 30 days.
Does a file I upload to import count against my storage?
No. The spreadsheet you send us, the .zip of photographs beside it and the report that comes back are working files: they are outside the allowance entirely, and they are deleted after 48 hours. The date is shown on the import itself.
Can I have the PDF printed?
At a digital printer, yes — the files are ordinary A4 PDFs with real text. For offset printing, no: ProductZephyr produces RGB pages without bleed, crop marks or CMYK profiles, because it is built for documents that are sent, published and read on screen. If your catalogue goes to a commercial press, keep doing that part where you do it today.
Do I have to talk to someone to try it?
No. You open a workspace yourself, in a minute, and it is ready straight away. The demo is there for people who would rather talk first: we then load a slice of your real catalogue and rebuild one of your real documents with you.
Do you need a VAT number?
No. Subscriptions are sold by Paddle, our authorised reseller, which handles the tax wherever you are. If you are a business in the European Union, entering your intra-community VAT number at the checkout means you are not charged VAT — worth doing, never required to subscribe.
What happens to a photograph I remove?
It stops being shown straight away, and it is destroyed a month later — not the same day. Removing the wrong picture is one click, and getting the original back from whoever took it two years ago is not. Put it back within the month and nothing happens. It does still count towards your storage until it goes.
Where is my data?
In the European Union, in a database schema of its own, separate from every other customer.
Can I change plan later?
Yes, in either direction. Moving up takes effect at once and is charged pro rata. Moving down takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — and if the smaller plan no longer covers what you hold, nothing is deleted: the workspace simply stops accepting new products until it does.
